Enrollment Process

Enrollment Process

The following application process is designed for students with typical development. Parents and guardians of students with identified special needs documented in an Individualized Education Program (IEP) or of students for whom a disability is suspected should contact the West Clermont Parent Mentor and Family Support Liaison at (513) 943-5083 for additional enrollment information.

West Clermont uses an online lottery process for enrolling typically developing students in preschool. (The lottery is NOT for special education students and/or students on IEPs). For the 2026-27 school year:

  • Parents/guardians will complete an online form between January 19 and February 1, 2026 to enter the lottery.
  • The lottery drawing will occur on February 2, 2026.
  • All applicants will be notified via email by the end of the work day on Friday, February 6, 2026 regarding their status.
  • Once parents/guardians are notified that their child is offered a seat in the preschool program, they can begin the registration process. Details about how to complete registration will be provided in the email.
  • Families will have 14 days to complete the registration process after the email notification. Those that do not complete the registration process (including a paid deposit) within 14 days (by February 20, 2026) will be placed on a wait list.
  • Returning students will be able to renew their enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year without participating in the lottery.
  • Students who are not drawn in the lottery and all entries received after February 1st will be placed on the 2026-2027 Preschool Waitlist.
  • If you missed the initial online lottery, and are still interested in a spot within the preschool program for the 2026-2027 school year please fill out the 2026-2027 Preschool Waitlist.
  • The upcoming lottery will prioritize students aged 4-5 years old. If there are still openings at the conclusion of the lottery, students aged 3 years old will be offered a spot within the preschool program.
